    Surf Accommodation in Fiji

Fiji is an archipelago northern of New Zealand and western of Australia. There are 332 Islands, but only about 105 are inhabited. Most of the Islands of the Fijis are of volcanic origin, the smaller islands emerged from coral reefs.

The climate is tropical hot and humid, with temperatures between 16 and 32 °C. During the rainy season from November to April, tropical cyclones affect parts of the Fijis. From Mai to October, cooling southeast trade winds bring dry weather. Generally, the small islands receive less rainfall than the big Islands.

Fiji’s most famous reef breaks are Cloudbreak and Restaurants. Both are off the west coast of the island, out in the middle of the ocean and for experienced surfers only, as most waves on Fiji are. It’s important to know, that not all waves are open for public, but only for guests of certain camps and resorts.
