The waves suit surfers of all levels of experience. The Teahupoo region has seven surf spots, some of which count as the best of the archipelago. Here surfers will find huge reef breaks and well equipped surf camp. Mataval Point and Point Venus on the northern coast of the island are also highly recommended by surfers worldwide. On the southern coast surfers should visit Fisherman’s Point and Papara.
