Bsurf Hostel (BSH) is a hostel with unique features in Baleal – Peniche. The Bsurf Hostel (BSH) is a house prepared to receive people from all over the world, situated 400 meters from Baleal's beach, and a few minutes away from other well known beaches such as Supertubos, Lagide, Almagreira and Belgas.

BSH allows everyone to enjoy a fantastic stay, not only for its lodging characteristics, but also for its location and surroundings full of excellent beaches, and natural treasures, such as the island of Berlenga.

Apart from its excellent lodging quality, BSH has a large swimming pool, vast garden areas, and a tennis court, that you can fully enjoy. It's prepared for receiving couples with babies, not only for the available equipments, but also for the babysitting service... while parents enjoy water sports. BSH also has a physiotherapy office, specialized in Sports Rehab and in Podiatry (Foot and Ankle pathology).

You are able to rent the hostel for yourself and friends, or travel companions, in exclusivity.Or you can simply share a bedroom. We are a few meters from the beach and the waves.BSH is fully equipped with all modern equipment and appliances that you could need.

BSH has 3 bedrooms, and a full capacity of 10 persons, with the possibility of adapting a private bedroom with an extra bed for a child, or a nursery bed for babies. BSH has terraces with sea view, barbecue and a clay oven for cooking bread/pizza in its private green grass garden with direct access to the swimming pool, and the tennis court. BSH has cable TV, DVD/DivX reader, integrated hi-fi, free ADSL wireless, games, films, central heating in all rooms, and a jacuzzi bathtub.

• Kitchen: spacious, fully equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, stove, electric oven,microwave oven, fridge/freezer, boiler and all the other necessary utensils).


• "Almagreira" bedroom: 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed (it is possible to adapt the roomto its rate of occupation); with central heating and veranda with swimming pooland tennis court view.


• "Lagide" bedroom: 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed (it is possible to adapt the roomto its rate of occupation); with central heating and veranda with sea view.


• "Supertubos" bedroom: 2 single beds with an extra bed for a child, or a nursery bedfor babies. This room has a private living room with cable TV, as well as an excellentterrace with sea view.

Consolação

This wave starts along side with a rock. It's an excellent right that breaks on a rocky bank. The wave is slow at the beginning, but becomes fast and tubular on the inside. Works better with N or NW wind and S or SW undulation.

Supertubos

Considered to be Portugal's best wave and one of the best in Europe. It's a fast and tubular wave that brakes on a shallow sand bank. Works better with SW undulation and N or NW wind. Ideal for experienced surfers.

Molhe Leste

It's a fast and tubular right that breaks on a sand bank next to a pier. To work right needs enough swell and, when that happens, it's considered one of Peniche's best wave. Ideal conditions are: N/NW or NE wind and SW undulation.

Meio da Baía

It's a long beach extension with 2,5 km starting in Peniche and ending in Baleal. It has several waves that brake on a sand bank. According with the undulation size it's possible to choose Meio da Baía, where the waves are bigger or Cantinho da Baía, where the waves are smaller. These waves are excellent, specially for beginners, as they are slow and and soft. Works better with S, SW and SE wind, and the best waves direction is N and NW.

Cantinho

It's an excellent wave for beginners. It's a right and left pike that starts slow, but when it gets to the inside turns faster. Works better with NW wind and NW undulation.

Lagide

It's a very famous long left that starts on top of a reef. It's a very manoeuvrable wave with fast and slow sections. Works with S, SW or SE winds and N undulation. It's ideal for experienced surfers.

Almagreira

It's a famous wave for surfers. It's a long beach extension, north of Lagido, with many waves and works well with weak undulations. It's a left and right pike starting from a sand bank for surfers levels. Works better com S or SE winds and N undulations. Belgas Right after Almagreira... many waves and lots of spread out spikes. It's always possible to find a wave just for yourself. The wave breaks on a sand bank. Ideal for all levels of surfing.

Bsurf Hostel is located 400 meters from Baleal's beach, and a few minutes away from other well known surf beaches such as Supertubos, Lagide, Almagreira and Belgas.

Nightlife is round the conner. Bars, beach bars, disco, and several eating places are at walking distance.

Also near, at a short driving distance, is the medieval village of Óbidos, and if you like scuba-diving you can do several activities with our partner Haliotis (at discount prices), in particular diving activities on the island of Berlenga.

Bsurf Hostel is situated in Baleal-Peniche. BSH provides an optional transfer service, paid in cash at the pick-up point, from the international airports of Lisbon, Porto and Faro. The transfer service from and to Peniche Bus Station is free.

All booking requests made directly to BSH, should be made by e-mail. Confirmation with all the necessary information to validate your booking is given through e-mail, within 24 hours. The booking will be valid, as soon as you make a 30% deposit of the total amount due. The remaining 70% are paid in cash at the arrival to BSH. In case of cancellation, the initial 30% deposit will not be refund. Nevertheless, it can remain as credit for a future date, or be transferred to someone else designated by you. Any occupation is subject to payment of a deposit of 50 euros per guest, refundable on exit. Cancellation policy is 48hrs. Cash on arrival.
